Mixing watercooling equipment shouldn't be a problem?

I have my HydroCool200, hooked up to an AMD 2500+ @ 2380 GHz, and I don't like the temps hitting 49*C I was planning to add the Swiftech MCR80 as seen here and I'd get the interconnects to change the sizes, and I'd get some more of the Green stuff that comes with the HC2 unit, from here

Should there be a problem? Should I worry about corrorison? The reason why I ask is because it was brought to my attention of different matierals that are made for the cooling, and the possibility of corrision.

This addition should cost me around $100, a little less if anyone was wondering.

what size pump do you have? an extra radiator will create a big pressure drop.

The pump is on the Corsair HydroCool200 which has a Bosch pump that can do 125 gallons/hr

Im not sure if that is enough but i could be wrong. just for your info , i have a Swiftech system ,with that same radiator ,and they use a 330gph pump with 1/2" tubing.and they use that same pump with all there kits. so this tells me that their parts create a great pressure drop to need a larger pump. remember too much or too little gpm will effect heat transfer
so you can eather A) try it and see what the results are or

B) contact each manufacture of each item of your system and find out what the total pressure drop is of you system and and use a Psychrometric chart and see what size pump you need.

unless you are a mechanical design engineer id just stick with choice A

Hehe, I'm thinking about sticking with Choice A, I don't think there should be a problem, but I want to know if there would be a problem like chemical reaction with different materials. I've been looking at houseofhelp.com, of Corsair's official forum, and there are plans of adding their GPU and Northbridge heatsink, so I don't think there should be a pressure drop, but what do i know?
