XP Home network issues

ok, I have two PC's. My Compaq 6029 desktop & my girlfriends Toshiba Satellite laptop. We are connted via a Linksys Etherfast Cable/DSL Router. We can both get onlien, yet can not read eachother's PC's over the network. We both have the same workgroup name "MSHOME" but can't read. We obviously are getting halfway there since we can connect online via the router... but we're stuck as far as trying to figure out how to read eachother.

Help!

I think you have to share your drives or a folder on both machines.

Go into Windows explorer and map a network drive, e.g.

\\computername\sharename
