Every attempt to print brings up this message: "out of paper".

There is a stack of (white, ink jet) paper about 3/8" thick, neatly lined up and readjusted a dozen times. The green light is on and steady. We cleaned the heads.

Any suggestions?

Did you just install the printer or has it been printing along fine untill now?
