Wireless router and dial-up question

A friend of mine was given a new Linksys wireless router, a "B" model. He would like to use it to provide wireless access to his lappy. BUT he lives way out in the boonies and is stuck with a dial-up ISP, so no broadband. What is the preferred method of getting the lappy online using this router and his desktop machine? He would like to be able to initiate the internet connection from the lappy. Is this going to require ICS? Thanks in advance for the help.

Send a message via AIM to Droppyale Send a message via Yahoo to Droppyale
Phone Line ----> Desktop ---(ICS)--> Router ---(DHCP)--> Laptop.

You would need a Wireless acess card on the laptop.
