Hi jensenelet,

Welcome to TechIMO!

Will you please explain if you are telling us that DVD-x will not copy from an ATI AIW card, or are you asking how to make it caputure from an ATI AIW card?

Hi jensenelet,

You have posted in the community forum, this is where we talk/joke/discuss non technical problems. You would be best served by asking one of the moderators to move this into the "video" problems forum.

Hey jensenelet, I am having the same problem. Dropped $100 on this software that is supposed to do everything, but it won't work with my ATI AIW Radeon 8500DV! It locks up the computer when you try. I've been on the DVD X Maker site and there are no answers or fixes that I can find. I did see posts from a few other people with the exact same problem. Hopefully somebody will come up with a patch or fix. The only reason I bought the damn software was to transfer VHS and my digital camcorder to DVD.

Have either of you tried to capture with the original software to the hard disk, then using the DVD X Maker software to copy from the hard drive to the DVD(r-rw+rw+r etc...)?
Will either of you try that and see if it works???
Tell us the results either way.

The original software that came with my DVD burner was Sonic MyDVD 4.0. That software does not recognize my card either. It does work when I use Ulead Studio 6 (which came with the video card). The only problem was that Ulead didn't seem to render the video very well and it came out choppy. This DVD X Maker seemed like a product that might do a better job, but I won't know until a fix or patch is created to resolve the problem.
