OCR with Adobe

I have a picture with text that was scanned in and email to me. Their request was to convet to "pdf", that was easy. Their next request was to make the text "OCR", optical character recognition. My only knowledge of this is that it has to be done when the document is scanned, is that true?

True.

Usually though (at least with finnish ocr), if you have 1 page of text with ~200words or so, I retype it faster to the computer than teach the omnipage what it says whereever.

So, if you have little text, you'll retype it faster than print the document, rescan it with ocr and send it back.
