TV out on Radeon: how?

I plugging my TV, and after messing with the setting in the Omega drivers for 1 hour, I just uninstalled them.

With the ATI drivers, my TVat least displays the picture, but it's a cloned picture.

How do I have my TV NOT display my deskop, but instand be an extension of my desktop??

What Radeon card do you have there? And what operating system?

right click desktop, select properties, go to settings tab, click the blue box with 2 in it (2nd monitor) which i hope you will have, and check box beside "Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor." Once you do that you must click the blue box with 1 in it, then click advanced, go to the display tabs, and turn on the tv display. You should then have the tv as display #2. The only problem with this is that the secondary display cant show dvds (player is just black) so the tv cant display dvd movies unless you make it the primary display (which means you have to move taskbar and icons and any windows everytime you open them from the tv to the desktop)
