how do i enable gd in php?

anyone know how to do that? i'm running php 4.3.4 , I need to use it for an image gallery

alright i figure out how to enable it, and then i get this error

UnKnown(): Unable to load dynamic library 'c:\php\php_gd.dll' - The specfied procedure could not be found

the .dll is in the specified folder so i don't know what is wrong with it and its making me mad
