need help with ImageMagick

I downloaded ImageMagick-5.5.7-10 for my website that i host using apache to use with a php image gallery i have (Coppermine Photo Gallery v1.2.0 - RC2) and i took a look at the Download and Installation Instructions, and that just knocked me for a loop can someone explain how to install this thing and use it in english?

the INSTALL file is usually pretty straight forward.

Run:

./configure
make
su -c "make install"

he is giving you the basic install commands for installing it( the source) in linux................are you trying to install the linux version in windows? cuz if so.................you might wanna download the .exe for windows.

i didnt know imagemagick had a windows version if so................

for future reference there is almost always a readme in the tarball so you can check that out before you compile..............if we're talking linux here.........

ok, there you go. looks like you have the wrong file. dont know if there is a windows version, might wanna do some research to see..good luck

I belive the only windows version you are going to get is if you compile the source in windows.
