Corsair or Geil?

hey all, im in the market for some new ram... so now the only question i have is should i go with corsair or geil? im lookin to get some dual channel 3200, 1 gig preferrably. im working at fry's electronics at the moment, and the geil seems to be flying off the shelves whenever we get it in, but i dont really know any pros/cons with geil. any input is appreciated as always

I am using Corsair right now, but I'm only running on one stick. I just ordered a pair of Corsair PC3200 XMS Series. I'll tell you once I get them from NewEgg.

P.S. Which Fry's do you work at? And how much discount do you get?

I have 2 - 256mb sticks of the Corsair PC3200 XMS and they work great. I have heard very good things lately about the Geil memory. Early on they were a little iffy, but it seems that they have worked out the bugs.

I prefer coarsair memory, the xms series are the high performance rams that won't let u down, if u are planning on OC, its the best, the down side is they are kinda pricy, but they do thier job very well. I own both xms 1024 3200c2pro and xms1024-4000pt, can't ask for more, they are just great the other brand is pretty nice too, but the quality is not as good as coarsiar xms series, just because the xms are build for performance and hand pick for each one and test it and therefor kinda pricy too.

doesn't matter which one u pick, just read the reviews on newegg.com and u will find out what each users said about the rams. good luck shopping

Corsair XMS is my prefered brand... Followed by OCZ, followed by Kingston Hyper X, and then Geil.
