Please review new online site...
Hi guys, i'm new to this forum but i would like some feedback on my website...it is a family owned business and we are still working on loading more items to our line of products...we have over 3000 products in our catalogs, but we currenlty have about a 1000 on the website. please check the site for privacy info, loading time for both graphics and text and anything else that comes to mine. thank you all in advance... www.bestvalueplus.net

First off, I found the page loaded very slow. I don't know whether the server is really popular, or on a slow connection, but that is one major factor that turns me off. Text is okay, but graphics are awfully slow.

actually, if not for the tediously slow load time, i would say it looks pretty good.

page load was rediculously slow... i clicked the link, went and made easy mac, ate the easy mac, watched some tv, and it still had 4 pics to load... looks good though...

hey guys, i'm sorry about the slow load of the page...i was informed not too long after i posted this thread that the server was being upgraded with memory...i don't know why they are doing it at this time of the day but that's what is coursing this slow load....the page usually loads very quick....i appreciate all your feedbacks but can you check back in like an hour or so and let me know if it got any better? thank you all in advance and sorry again...please give me feedback about other things one the server is fixed and everything runs fine.

You should also think about grouping things more appropriately. Think about grouping similar things, rather than the current alphabetical system.
For instance, group home decor, garden decor and desk ornaments together as they have something in common. (I think)

willy, thank you for that point...that is a very good idea...to tell you the truth i think there's still a lot of work to be done...the category grouping will def. change after i get all the items online...since i don't have the items in any kind of feed right now...i'm just trying to load everything online then i'll be able to save it in a feed form (php) then i can play around with the categories...i'm not sure if the shopping cart will allow me to group them the way you suggested but that's something i would like to change in the near future...
is the page loading any better now...it is for me right now but i don't know if the server upgrade is done...
anything else guys?
