At Home How organized is your Harddrive?

Hey everyone at TechIMO!!! I just wanted to start a little thing going here where we can share organization techniques and i guess "boast" about how well our drives are organized!

When it comes to 1,000+ personal files, there has to be some kind of control!

1) What do you mostly have in your drive
2) How did you organize it
3) Any special Techiques used that you want to share?

Jacob posted! It has been, what, several months since we've seen ya'?

Drive oganization? Well, I keep everything sorted according to a standard catagorical hiearchy. Text, video, music, apps, games, etc. all have their own directories. Each directory includes a subdirectory of common items, and I follow this pattern all the way down to each specific item (or group of items).

Now as for my Linux installs, I have files all over the place! I commonly stumble upon stuff I forgot about from months ago.

First HD:
C: OS
D: Apps
E: Data

Second HD:
F: anything else, mostly for video editting

Well, at least I TRY to follow that organization. Most of the time, though, things get thrown around everywhere.
