Kids Super Dat Engine????

I keep getting the popup window
telling me of a security warning and wanting me to install
"SuperDatEngine" by Network Associatates (VeriSign Class 3 Code, etc.)

What is it? It's very annoying.
Has anybody installed it?

here is what it is
A .DAT files is an update for the virus definitions. These contain the actual strings used to identify what virus it is, and clean the infection. New .DAT files are usually posted to our website once a week.

A SuperDAT contains the .DAT files and an upgrade for the scan engine. The engine uses the .DAT files to actually detect and clean the virus. A new SuperDAT comes out at the same time as the DAT files. A new engine is released less often.

NOTE: In some cases, the regular .DAT files may be posted off schedule to include viruses that may cause concern with AVERT.

Thank you for your replies.
Yes, I'm running McAfees Antivirus and Firewall.
It's supposed to update automatically.
Had no idea that it's part of that program.
Was afraid to install it for fear if something harmful.
Now I feel better about it. Thanks!
