Problems with Jedi Academy Multiplayer

I read in the latest issue of Maximum PC that you can play Jedi Academy Multi "offline" ie. just against bots...this is about my best option since I'm stuck with dialup. However there's a problem.

You knew that was coming...didn't you? There's always a problem...otherwise I wouldn't be posting this.

Anyways...when I choose Multiplayer the game just sits there. It never loads the game. No error...no nothing. I end up having to reboot because I can't get back into Windows. Singleplayer works fine, no problems.

Ideas?

^BUMP^ Ummm...anyone? Anyone else seen this problem or know how to fix it?

Well I downloaded the 1.01 update from LucasArts website...and unfortunately it didn't fix anything.

One thing I did notice though...when I click on Multiplayer at the first screen and then the Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy screen comes up, it isn't full screen. There's black bars at the top, bottom and left side of the screen with part of "Academy" going off the right side of the screen. When I click on Single Player game, the Jedi Knight : Jedi Academy screen is full screen.

Doh...didn't think that there might be forums specifically for the game. I'll see if I can find em.

There'll always be forums for any game, look on the Lucas Arts forums especially.

MP isn't that good to be honest, i prefer'd JK:JO much more.
