Talk D Link Router prob's

Ok, I'm going crazy. I have optimum cable, surfboard modem. D-Link 614+ router rev A. I have two existing pc's with the D-Link 520+ wireless card and they can get access to the internet with no problem. I have two new DELL's running XP that I want to add to the mix and I can't get an ip address on either one of them. I've tried reconnecting wires, resetting the router, ipconfig, ping...nada. I even attempted to hardwire the new systems directly to the modem and still no internet. I've already called DLINK several times and they had NO solution to the problem. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

i'm not sure if i understand the last portion of your post...how are you trying to connect the dell's running xp to the internet...do they have wireless cards or are you trying to hook them up with an ethernet cable...?

I apologize for the confusion. I'm a rookie. The one DELL system will be the replacement for the PC that was wired directly to the router/modem.--ethernet cable. Now, #2 DELL system has the DWL-122 USB wireless adapter. Neither pc's can connect to the internet. Thank you.
