installing win xp with diffrent cd

I have a legal win xp home disk wich I can not find at the moment can I use a friends xp home cd with my licence key and install it. And incase you were wondering I have a legal copy of xp with the little sticky thing with the cd key on it like this

as long as its the same version ... I.E. Home OEM etc.

I don't think that's Illegal and I don't see why it would be illegal!

You are using your CD Key number anyway and not your friend's one.!

yes it is my cd key and the same type of cd.
but isn't the oem the same thing as a full version only that you have to go with your pc manufature and not microsoft for support.
