Kids A7N8X Deluxe PCB Version?

Hey guys, I've just recently decided to update my BIOS version b/c I have this Crucial Memory and it keeps restarting sometimes for no apparent reason. I need a memtest and had zero errors so I'm thinking the BIOS might need an update.

I have an ASUS A7n8x deluxe mobo, but I do not know where the PCB Version is? I looked next to the logo between the PCI Slots and just saw a very small "PC13" and that was it. NO PCB Version anything, is there another way to find out? Thanks in advance.

Pleh, it's probably your mobo, the Asus A7N8X is really bad. Mine recently died after giving me a month of hell.

PCB is just printed circuit board, every motherboard is PCB, don't worry about it.

Not really what he was getting at, OP.

I have an A7N8X DLX and I haven't had a single problem with it. I'm using Corsair though. IIRC, they hid the version number somewhere on the outskirts of the board. It's not between the PCI slots where it should be.

would you happen to konw where it is? I purchased the mobo over the summer, so i am not sure how up to date the PCB version, I shld also add regardless of how the memtest turned out, the memory is not compatible with the mobo, something I knew I just couldn't afford a new one at the time. I just bought a new CORSAIR, Low Latency so it should work out.

Actually, on mine, it's very small, but right after the giant ASUS A7N8X logo. Rev 2.03

Ditto for me, absolutly no probs.I use Crucial memory and have no problems.

You might try setting the memory settings in the bios to the most stable settings first.the manual has some info on it.

Might be you got the wrong memory for that revision of motherboard. Not sure if this can happen on an A7N8X,but I ran into this problem on another board.

Go to Crucials site and use the wizard to find out, compare what is says the part number should be with the memory you have.

Lastly, is your power supply at least 300-350 watts?
could also be about to go out on you.
