scsi help Please

Ok heres the problem. I have a scsi 3 host. I purchased a scsi 3 to centronics 50 cable. I am going to use this to connect a mustek scsi scanner. The problem is that there is only one centronics port on the scanner and I can't terminate the cable.
Do I need a centronics 50 active passthru terminator?
I really don't know very much about scsi but I know that it need terminated on both ends. The mother board bio says that it is terminated on the board.

I did get an error when I booted up and the scsi error said that it wasn't terminated.

Thanks for the Help

CAT

The old Mustek scanners have one 50-pin and one 25-pin connector, usually. Just buy a 25-pin active terminator, and you're set. Been there, done that. More than once.

Thanks for responding.
I was impatient and ordered a centronics feedthru. Do you think It will work or will I have to buy a 25 pin one

Tks
