cpu fan speedS?

what are cpu fan speeds suppose to be at? i have a 1.4 pentium 4 and its always spinning at 4551 rpm sometimes 4571 around there it varies..is this normaL?

Sounds fine to me. It really depends on the fan. I have mine running at 2800rpm. Some of those things can really scream!

depends on the manufacturer of the fan. normal for one model will be different for another, a slight fluctuation is normal

.. we're close.. I have P4 1.5 the fan is running at 4753 rpm right now.

what is the CPU temparature? If its running cool, then those speeds are fine.

yea, mine is an adjustable 80mm fan that ranges anywhere from 1400 to 5000... that thing can sound like a jet, but it does its job and i usually have my music up loud enough where i cant hear it

That's an ok speed. My CPU fan spins at over 5000rpm at all times and it hasn't broken down over the years.

As long as it doesn't break, there's no problem

yes, it depends on the maker of the fan, some slower and some faster....some louder and some softer so there is no worries on that as long it cools ur cpu well
