Advice on a new monitor needed...

I'm looking for a high quality, fairly large (19" or better), flat screened CRT monitor (in black if possible to match my new computer). But I also don't want to shell out too much cash, anyone have any suggestions. I was looking at a couple KDS monitors, but that was mostly for their low prices.

P.S. I have a Radeon 9600 Pro, just in case someone wants to know what adapter I'll be using (resolutions/refresh rates/etc.).

I usually find the best deals at B&M stores like staples, best buy, and so on. You don't have to worry about shipping or wait for it to get there. Office max had a deal last week for a 19" trueflat monitor but I can't remember where I seen it at. Also if you can find a coupon for Dell sometimes they have decent deals but watch the specs on there monitors.

After a long couple of days I finally decided on NEC's FE991-SB 19" flat CRT monitor. Lot's of people had good things to say not only about the monitor itself, but the utility software as well. I got it from newegg, here is a link in case anyone is interested:

Probably too late for you, but you can get a 21" Trinitron for the same price.

Check out the Grade B stuff, I got one grade "b", but it had a little 3/4" scratch in the far corner of the glass, and a little bitty chip in the case- doesn't affect the aesthetics at all, and saved me $65 over the grade A stuff, which is still a good deal.

Looking at about $40.00 to ship, which is about right.

Well my brother has a Trinitron, and for whatever reason there are two light grey lines running horizontally across the screen at about 1/4 from the top, and 1/4 from the bottom of the screen. Which always annoyed me because it's very apparent on lighter backgrounds. Many people have told me this is due to the tube the Trinitrons use. So I kinda tossed them out of the equation early on, but for those prices... I guess you can't lose. My NEC (sorry about the link, here is one to the specs) was about $230.00 (it's already been shipped so it's a little late). I'll let you guys know what I think about it once it gets here.
