Icon Changed...
Hmm...weird thing. Im running XP, and outta the blue my Call Of Duty icon on my desktop changed to the weatherbug icon. The title is still Call Of Duty, just a different icon. Virus of some sort?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Could be...do you have a good virus scanner with up to date definitions?
Also, have you tried running Spybot and Ad-aware?

Not necessarily. Mine do that every so often when shutting down another proggy. Just right click it > properties > change icon, and select the correct icon.
Edit: Yup just re-read your post. If you haven't installed "Weatherbug" I would suggest uninstalling it using the "Add/Remove Programs", or a good spyware remover.

I have had icons change with Windows 98. I used Powertoys Icon rebuilder to fix.

Some of mine change on occasion with 98 or XP. They usually change back though. Some sort of desktop caching issue or something. Also sometimes a favorite has a little icon of its own..then next time you look it has the default icon...? lol.

You could also right click the Desktop and select 'Refresh' from the drop-down and see what happens.

WeatherBug...WeatherBug, Oh HEY, I installed that once and Ad-Aware Pro removed the entire program!
I think it was like six months ago, pretty sure that's the one.
