Dell GX1 video simms??

I build some Dell Gx1s from time to time...this time I noticed an interesting looking "simm" slot that is a video ram upgrade.

Anybody know anything about it??

Its like the old simms slots where you lay the stick in sideways and then click it down flat.

It clearly says "video upgrade" on the board. and the white writing is "3.3v ppa-GF30"

My guess is it is to add another 4m.

Hey John,
that looks like a 3.3v 148pin SO-DIMM VRAM Slot.
My old iMac 233 had one of those, I added 6mb of RAM total, 2(onboard) + 4(upgrade)

On the bottom of the page is the VRAM i put in my imac... maybe it uses the same?
Thanks, Paul

Yeah, the "older" imacs used laptop memory so it gets confusing sometimes to tell which one is; A ram slot or a VRAM slot, lol
