audigy sound card and All in wonder compatibility problem

Has anyone found that the Creative Audigy platinum (or other audigy model) causes problems in video caputer with an all in wonder ve card? I noticed significant dropped frames and want to know what the fix is. There appears to be a compatibility problem with the audigy line of sound cards, but I do not know what the fix is, if one exists????

Windows XP Professional with all latest updates and service packs. Also running an AGP video card as well with an NVIDIA Gforce. I have an Abit IT7 motherboard. When I disable the audigy card and use my onboard audio the capture process works well, With the audigy card enabled I drop frames.
