Well, after unsucessuly installing windows overtop of my current windows, i decided to go back to my cluttered, buggy windows. However, since windows XP install installs in 800 X 600 resolution, my windows screen res turend to 800 X 600 (usually 1024 X 768 *15 in LCD monitor*.) However, when I went to chage the resolution, to my suprise, i can make the res 1208 X ***. Bad idea, since my LCD moniotrs "native resolution" is 1024 X 768, it means I cant go higher. So it gives me a monitor error (black screen; message "Display out of range"). I hit the reboot button on my case, and windows boots, sort of. Since the resolution was 1280 X ***, windows still believes its that. Basically, i cant boot Windows XP. I have a secondary HD, also with WIN XP Pro installed, and thats how i'm typing this to you (i booted from slave instead of master).
Now, is there a way i can change resolution remotley without the access of windows, but with access to the HD. I dont want to have to bring in a CRT monitor, run windows, change the res, and put my LCD on again

.
