Systems Reboots & Video Prob...with M7NCG 400

I hope I did not make a mistake……

The Bench marks are right on but I have erratic restarts and there are small horizontal lines on the screen. The small lines (1/4 inch) usually appear after a reboot and stay until I do another reboot. I have downloaded every driver and utility I could think of but I still get the lines. Now to the reboots….. I get the blue screen of death for a fraction of a second and then the computer automatically restarts. (goes by to fast to read).

SPECS :

BioStar M7NCG 400
AMD 2100XP
KRETON 512MB PC2100 DDRAM
WD 40GB 7200rpm

Aspire CASE with a 350Watt TURBOLINK Power supply ?!?!?

I'm worried about the TurboLink power supply! I have an Enlight 300w but I don’t think that will be enough to power everything.

Uhhh, I just had a similar problem, and it was a stick of KByte ram. Kept lowering the settings from expert, to turbo, to agressive, to optimal, and got a little farther each time before a memory dump and reboot.

One stick of Kingston Value ram seems to have fixed the problem.

Changed out the memory and I did not have a reboot but I still had the Video Problem. I’m not too happy with the performance of the onboard GeForce 4 MX. Disabled the on board video and installed a Quadro Pro 2 card …… It performs much better than the on board Video. Lessoned learned! I will probably never buy a “All-in-One” again.
