In other news, LG also updated their firmware, and are also providing a recovery routine for drives that fubared themselves.

I was getting about 115KBps from here:
ftp://ftp.nluug.nl/pub/os/Linux/dist.../Mandrake/iso/

The release was delayed due to the LG bug.

finally, took them long enough....

I'll download them even though I already have 9.2, installed it through net-install without having to download any ISOs

I don't care about the LG CD-Rom fix. What about the other ~300 MB worth of fixes they put out a week after the intial release ? Are these included in the new images ?

I'm seriously upset that I wasted over 2 GB of my monthly download limit on a "broken" distro.

Drake 9.2 is the first time I have ever downloaded Mandrake bug fixes and updates and had it totally break KDE -shame... maybe my mirror was corrupt, I'll try again later

It's not your mirror CMonster. The release itself is corrupt.
