Windows XP - CD Drive gone mad

The creative 52 speed el cheapo CD drive in my workstation has started storing the contents of previous disks. For example if I put in a CD, access it and then swap the disk for another the contents of the original disk are still displayed if I browse the CD.

Strange eh?

Anyone had similar issues?

Do you click elsewhere between?
If you just switch a cd and have the drive open in explorer all the time, it will not change the contents unless automatic refresh is set on.

//edit: Or do you mean that you can still browse the directory tree of the old cd even when the new cd is in?

Hmm, strange. If I browse around a bit it changes to the proper contents. However if I just tell it to refresh it doesn't update.

Oh well, not a big deal just rather odd.
