Where can I purchase a Palmino core XP?

My mobo will only support up to Model 6 Athlon XP CPUs (Palmino core). I would like to purchase one, but don't know where to find one. Any ideas? The specific model I'm after is a Palmino 2100+.

Newegg has the 1900+ Palomino, though nothing larger unless you want the 2000 MP Palomino.

Found what you are looking for here

Got a 9.57 on RR so I would feel safe buying from them.

Thanks jkrohn I guess I was spelling Palomino wrong when I searched for CPUs- I was spelling it Palmino hehe.

Looks like they're out of stock at the moment I'll search around and see if anyone else has them otherwise I guess I'll just have to wait.

are you sure it can only support palomino core cpu? maybe the specifictaions were written before the thoroughbred cores came out and thus did not include it in the spec sheet...

this is the case sometimes with these mobos.

check the company site online and see if there are any updates on this matter. perhaps a new bios is up.. ready for some bios flashing, buddy?

As a rule, if the correct multiplier is available in the BIOS, I've had no problems running Thoroughbred A or B cores in mobos that came out when Palominos were the current thing. So, you might be able to save yourself some grief. Check the BIOS. Like pinipig523 said, you may just need a BIOS flash, or not even that.

Guys, you need to look at his other thread, "Can I use thoroughbred on an a7v133?" You'll see he can't use it so he's looking for a palomino.
