help help help!! Blank screen? !!

hello, i have motherboard that is an atx motherboard socketed 423. and for some reason my montior doesnt apply to the CPU.(video card is working correctly) and the agp slot for the video card is 1.5 and that is a GeForce2 MX200. and its say that the motherboard support 1.5volt video card only. do anyone know what case this to happen? blank screen? ( just say that u didnt hook it up the VGA but which u did) is it because of the motherboard or is it because of the P4 chip? please help me on this

Well, it wouldnt have anything to do with the P4 cpu.

So you just built this system or what? Explain the EXACT problem you are having.

okay my problem is that i ordered 2 different motherboard (which is the same socketed) and they both arent working b/c when i installed my videocard in (since the motherboard doesnt provide vga) the monitor wont turn on!? any clue? i mean the monitor work but its just flash the green light only

Well, no video could be a number of different problems...

Does the system make any beeps at all? Most (if not all) ATX motherboards have POST codes to help troubleshoot no-boot issues. They are usually a series of long and short beeps in specific sequences depending on the actual problems. It could be anything: RAM, CPU, video card, motherboard or maybe even the monitor. Turn the computer on and let us know what kinds of noises it's making.

EDIT: What brand and model is the motherboard? We'll need this to help identify the POST codes as well.

Aye, if it's the Asus A7N8X-X, send it back, all of those motherboards are faulty, everysingle one.

the motherboard is a dfi atx p4 motherboard socketed 423 and yes it does make a beep sound. as it start it go beep! den again beep!! which i dont get why it does that. the monitor just dont show up. can you help me on this?
