Well, no video could be a number of different problems...
Does the system make any beeps at all? Most (if not all) ATX motherboards have POST codes to help troubleshoot no-boot issues. They are usually a series of long and short beeps in specific sequences depending on the actual problems. It could be anything: RAM, CPU, video card, motherboard or maybe even the monitor. Turn the computer on and let us know what kinds of noises it's making.
EDIT: What brand and model is the motherboard? We'll need this to help identify the POST codes as well.
