I just bought a new motherboard and im wondering if its better to get 2 sticks 256MB DDR Ram PC 2700 or 1 stick 512MB DDR RAM PC 2700. What would be the best solution for me.

Which mobo? It really depends if your new mobo is capable of running dual channel ddr in which case the 2 x 256 would be better.
