No bass in WinAmp5

Hey guys. I got Winamp5 installed and working, but my subwoofer refuses to play anything. It works fine in WinAmp3, WMP, anything else. I tried setting the EQ to full bass and treble, no luck. I have onboard AC97 sound on my IS7, which sounds pretty good, good enough for me. My subwoofer is an old altec lansing that can put out a LOT of bass. Any ideas people? I run XP Pro.

Thanks a ton in advance,
Rich

Which Altec setup have you got? Need to know how it connects to the satellites and the computer.

Its just a separate sub. The speakers have one plug, which goes into front output. My Sub has a purple plug, which goes into the black hole on my mobo, which is center/sub.

Then WinAmp5 doesn't know to use anything more than the stereo channel, or you've got the speakers set up improperly in the mixer settings. Since it works on everything else, my bet is on WA5. I wish I could tell you for sure, but my AL setup is just a 4.1, no seperate sub channel.
