I have used Gigabyte boards for quite some time and I have few if any complaints. Am currently running the GA-7VAXP, and it's proven to be VERY stable.
Dual BIOS is a great concept and has been implemented very well. I had a power outage while flashing my BIOS about a year ago, but the secondary BIOS allowed me to rewrite the primary, saving me a potential disaster.
The only "bug" I've found so far is with a specific board (GA-7VAX). I spent WEEKS trying, but I couldn't get XP to run for more than a few minutes without a system failure (error: PFN List Corrupt). Upgraded to the GA-7VAXP and am very happy with it.

No prob, just make sure and take some time to read thru, and you will avoid some of the most common setup mistakes.
