Remove AS3 adhesive?

Is it possible to remove a heatsink that has been attached using AS3 thermal adhesive?

From their website:

CAUTION!
Arctic Silver Thermal Adhesive is a permanent adhesive. Components you attach with Arctic Silver Thermal Adhesive will stay attached forever.
Doesn't look good. How hard is it? You could try to cut/scrape it off with a razorblade if you can get to it and are careful enough. Once you had some of it off, you could try different solvents.

I did find this in a review of the stuff though.

They just took out all the fun! This stuff is promoted as a "permanent bond" unless you cut your mixture with some Arctic Silver Thermal Paste. I didn't cut it, then again, I didn't know that it was billed as PERMANENT. But, with the help of an Exacto knife what ever I glued down came up with only moderate difficulty.

BTW razor didn't work. And "prying" a Radeon 9800 PRO wasn't sitting to well with my stomach.

...

I tried ripping the ramsinks off as soon as I took the card out of the freezer, but they wouldn't budge.

I remembered from physics that metals expand and contract, and if they expand and contract TOO fast, they usually break. I applied this priceless knowledge to my card, and ran into the bathroom.

(the card is still really cold to the touch.) I took the hair-dryer, put it up to the first ramsink, let it sit there for about 15 seconds, then ripped the ramsink off like that adhesive was butter.

AWSOME!

After reading some more internet sites that I just found it seems that some people suggest just using a hair dryer. Although I would liek to brag about my epiphany about the thermal properties of metals, if the method of just using a hair-dryer works, then I just added in auseless step.

But when I think about it, the purpose of the adhesive is to conduct heat. One would think that just adding heat to the adhesive, wouldn;t make it soo weak you could just break it off, but I could be wrong.

In the end, I got the Ramsinks off.
Arctic Silver Thermal Adhesive is removeable!
