AIM and a debug message

On my friend's computer, when AIM is running and a blank advertisement appears at the top of the buddy list window a message will pop up that ask if you wish to debug. This happens every 5 minutes or so and is getting a bit annoying.

Any ideas?

I believe it's an XP Pro machine... if that matters.

Thanks

Send a message via Yahoo to paul9
try internet explorer, tools, internet options, advanced, check disable script debugging or there may be a java debug option in there. this may help, or aim may have a debug option to turn off. is it a stable version you use, because if it is a beta test version, this may cause the debug messages to be enabled.
