how to make z680s work digitally

I just purchased this divine piece of audio heaven and it took me some 5 days to work out the best solution for digital orgasm . This is it, straight , simple and assured . I have an audigy 2 and THE BEST CONNECTION SOLUTION is a monster cable 3.5 mm monojack to male RCA . The standard monojack goes into your soundcard and the RCA goes into the control panel . Apply all the ticks in the boxes according to the logitech website and you will have the most fantastic sound on the planet for £200+ , the DVDS come alive and the subwoofer rocks da house , music is beautiful and games in EAX make you deaf . One important note , Logitechs website states you can connect the z680s to an Audigy 2 via Optical . This is wrong as Creative informed me , the only way and the best solution is coax . By the way the Coax cable you are looking for will have 3 jacks, 1 mono and 2 RCA , you just need to connect 1 of the RCAS to the control pod and away you go . Email me if you have problems

I am seriosuly thinking about getting a set of Logitech Z680's. But im still deciding between those or the Creative Gigaworks S750.

So there is no way to connect to an Audigy 2 ZS Platnium Pro via optical ? and is optical better than coax cable ? Also, to use EAX, do the speakers have to support it too ?

Actualy, get a soundcard that supports Fiber optic cables. Go out and buy yourself a $20 fiber optic cable, and there yah go. Best sound you can get.
