Forcing Deletion

I am on a Windows 2000 machine and using the net use command to mount a drive on a 98 machine. I want to delete some files that are on that machine but they are in use. Is there a way to force the deletion of those files? I have already tried "del /f/q/s k:\filename" but it says "access is denied".

Basically is what is happening is that someone is installing yahoo constintly even after I delete it from her machine. Usually when the program isn't running I just delete the directory, rendering the program useless. But lately it seems she has gotten wind of this and keeps it up ALL the time. While it is running I am unable to delete all the file to disable it. How else can I do it. I don't have any programs like deep freeze or anything like that. I just want to delete it.

Thanks

try using psexec and unistalling the program for her.. lol

http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/freeware/psexec.shtml might have to figure out some switches for an unattended uninstall tho
