Internet Problems

Well I just tried to go and play some BF1942 online and no servers would show up. Then as I try go get mail on comcast.net the mail center page wouldn't show. My teamspeak and AIM is working as well as the rest of the internet as you can see, but I cant play on BF online, or any other game for that matter.

There's been a windstorm going around here too causing power outages, but that doesnt explain why half of my internet would work, or does it?

What do you experts think the problem may be?

I would reboot if it were me.

Whenever there is lightning in my area, I have to reset my switch. The router is fine, but the switch for some reason doesn't like the lightning. It's probably just because the plug isn't properly grounded.

I was contemplating rebooting, but I still dont get why the internet will work along with most other things, but yet my games wont work and neither will my Kazaa Lite.
