serial issue
hey i am gonna install win me again on my pc but i dont have the serial # cuz its a generic pc, and i only have a folder on the c: thats its namede win9x and contians the installation of win me. that folder put it in there the technician that built my pc, i burned that folder to a cd but if i format c and then put win back it will ask me for that serial #, can i use the number that it apears when i right click my computer and go to properties??? its an oem number???
can somebody help me?
