Turning off XP domain logon

Does anyone here know how to turn off the domain logon screen in windows xp pro. ( where you have to press ctrl+alt+delete to logon at startup ) A co-worker of mine changed it on my computer and I cant get rid of it now even after changing the network settings back to use a workgroup again.

You have to go into My Computer, Control Panel and click on Users.

There's a setting there about "The way users log on to the computer." Change that from the old style to the new style.

are you trying to get the "welcome screen" back?? if so ( while logged in as an admin ) go to start >> run and then type "gpedit.msc" (no quotes)

then go to Computer Configuration >> Windows Settings >> Security Settings >> Local Policies >> Security Options

once in there look for the value "Interactive Logon: Don not require CTRL-ALT-DEL and make sure the setting is set to "enabled" if it's set to disabled right click on the value and you can change it.. then log out and see if you get the welcome screen back

Thanks guys, I was going a step to far in the "dumbed down tools" explanation and selecting a user account took me about 15 mins to figure out why I didn't have the option to Change the way users logged on but I finally got it working the way I wanted now. Eagle1: I'm not too sure where my avatar came from just found it in the Temporary Internet files folder one day

Ok i got a problem. I try to changed it back to welcome screen using Contro Panel -> User Accounts -> Change way users log in or off -> I get this message -> "A recently installed program has disabled the Welcome Screen & Fast User Switching. To restore these features, you must uninstalled the program. The following name might help you identify the program that made the change: ginamsi.dll!

Ok, now I have no idea what is the program, anyway to fix it?
