dead power supply?

not sure if this a bad power supply or what. I reconnected the power cord and powered up the pc when I realized that the 98 setup disk was still in. It got to the "boot with cd support" etc. screen, I ejected the disk and did a ctl alt del reset. It powered off instantly and will not power on. Any thoughts?

take the power cord off from the pc... then plug it back in.... and try..

tried that...also pulled the battery for 10 mins per the owners manual for the mb, that didn't work. there is a led on the mb where the power cord plugs in that comes on when the switch for the power supply on the back is turned on thats what makes me wonder if it is the power supply since this comes on
