USB game port adapter help

I just bought a F3U200-8 from Belkin. It has a male USB plug on one end and a female game port plug on the other. Any ideas on how to make one of these work? It came with no documentation. The only info I can find on the web is price comparisons. Some sites state it is for an MS sidewinder but none say it's only for that model. Please help

try out what matheu suggested- simply plugging it in and trying it out- see if it works.

I bought the MS Sidewinder Precision Pro a while back and it did come with an adapter just like you describe- I think they added it in to phase their inventory out of the gameport version (they put an adatper in) because later they made USB only version of that joystick.

Thanks for the ideas. I found out this would only work with an MS sidewinder although it's not labeled as such. Ended up sending it back.
