Suggestions on setup

Ok, when I get back to the house and setup the new machine anyone got any pointers or tips besides the obvious.?

One question I have is what size partition should I make for winxp by itself?

In addition to the WD 80 gig drive going in with a fresh copy of XP.. I have two others, 30 and 40 gig drives... I think I'll use just one of those...

What is the best way to set it up so I can use one of them as a backup drive. Is there a way to set it to automatically backup, without slowing me down??

XP minimum requirements is 1.5 GB's.

I usually allot 10X space for the system - in this case 15 GB's.

Really, ?!?..

You think XP would eventually bloat itself to that size?

Holey Schnikes man! I partition about 6-8GB's.

If you're going to use a separate drive for applications, go w/ the 6GB's. Make your APPS partition according to what you run. If it's games, go big, if it's not, 4-6GB's would be fine. You could create another one for temp stuff, like downloads, internet cache, etc . . .
