In the 9800 PRO All-In-Wonder is that purple cord with 3 plugs on side is that in rf modulator, which will allow me to convert s-video so I can use it on non s video tvs?

Is that also called RCA? Do mosts TVs have that and/or s-video? My tv is a 7 year old sony.
