XP crashes after 10 minutes of use!!!

My WinXP keeps crashing after I use any program for about 10 - 15 minutes. I already checked the CPU temperature and it's not even close to being too hot. It was working just fine days ago. If I keep the PC on for hours but not running any applications it will work just fine! I tried using Docmem to check the RAM and it passes the test perfectly. I got all drivers updated(Video, sound. Motherboard, AGP). I know it doesn't freeze due to Direct3D or sound because sometimes it crashes when I'm surffing the Internet or using Word. I also just formatted and reinstalled everything and it's still no good! I'm not overclocking anything. It freezes in a way that you can't move the mouse pointer or do anything! Hope there's a fix for this! Thanks in advance!

CPU Athlon XP 1.6
512 RAM
HD 80 GB
GeForce FX 5200 128 MB AGP 8X
Sound Blaster Live value
K7S5A Motherboard
Windows XP pro
Direct3d 8.1

yes a pc can freeze if there is not enough power to the computer

I see... I recently changed my power supply. It's 350 w, If that's the problem, will I have to get a different one? According to my PC specs what do I need?

a good brand name 350 ps would be ok, a generic one maybe not.
another thing to think about: how many processes are open?
over 30 processes = some open u dont need. over 40 processes,
possible cause of problem.

Is there a molex connector for your 5200? I've read that those things can really make your 'puter freak out. With the unstable voltage and all. I dunno try swapping the card if swapping the PSU doesn't work.

PSU Problem!
That's what I want to tell many of you, I had suffered changing many hardware to solve unexpected shutdown. finally I found that PSU was the cause of it all.
