Wireless Networking (Brick House)

Hi, I've been looking into wireless networking in my house, as it is considerably cheaper than having points put around the house (And more convenient), but I do not know whether it would work very well with my brick house. Does anyone know whether wireless networking works in brick houses, can you please help?

Thx, SouR

The signal should penetrate a brick wall or two (or three), depending on how thick the walls are. In any case, the indoor range will be lower than if you had normal drywall-type walls.

Are the floors made of concrete or wood? If wood, I would try putting the access point in the attic to beam the signal down through the flooring. But try first and see if you can just mount it in one of the rooms.
