What should I get?

I currently have a NVidia 5200 (yah, don't hate me ) This was before techimo when i bought it and new nothing of video cards. What do you recommend I get? I'm thinking about an ATI somewhere around 9600-9800. Should I spend 300 for a 9800 pro or would that not be worth it? I just sent back my nvidia 5200 to best data because it fryed or something. I plan on getting this around christmas so hopefully a sale and more money.

I recommend going through these threads and make your choice.

But my .02 cents, if you have the money (and you are a big gamer), go for the Radeon 9800 Pro. If not, the 9600XT would be a good choice.
