Hot Date Install??

I am having problems installing The Sims Hot Date expansion pack on to my computer. I installed the first three successfully, in the correct order. Before installing Hot Date I turned off all unnecessary programs. I have done everything that the EA tech support has told me to do. The install still hangs at 95%. I even went to bed and ran the install over night and that time it popped up with an error message about I/O something...i cant remember now. I have windows XP, but I know that I have the correct processor....well actually its a celeron....does that make a dif? HELP, cuz the game would be so much more fun with Hot Date on it. I want to install it correctly, so I dont lose all my families and houses.

You may have a bad CD. Check it for scratches or dirty spots. You could always go back to where you bought it and exchange it for another copy if it's bad.
