Quantum Bigfoot 2550A Jumper settings

Want to use it to load a linux on ,want to use it in a dual boot situation.Looks like there are jumpers but they are in a straight line.Are they and if they are would anyone know the settings.Thanks for any info.

Quantum HDD support is handled by Maxtor.

According to this PDF , you don't need the jumper on the bottom (PCB side) if it's a SLAVE drive. SINGLE or MASTER needs to have the jumper on "DS".

thanks for the info.That was exactly what I wantedI am on my third os ,MANDRAKE 9.1, then lycoris evaluation,now redhat 9.Thanks again for the help
