Best ww2 FPS shooter ever, hands down.

Battlefield 1942
Excellent multiplayer, but SP lacks.

they are both games, but BF1942 is like totally online, the single player sucks. I dont really know about the sports games though.

I agree with Shawshank, but Half Life is a pretty good game too. I havent had much experience with it, but from what I have experienced it is a good game.

Ohh, you're going to recommend Half Life for the poor guy?

I am stuck playing Quake3 and Enemy Territory (Free download).

Your system sounds fine for games, its better than mine and I can play most game without too much trouble (halo taxes my system pretty hard but it still runs good).

You cant be without these games:
- Call of Duty
- Moh:aa
- Battlefield 1942

All these famous (well most of them) WW2 games are great.

Can't really go wrong with the WWII games at the moment, they seem to be the focus of many developers.

Can't suggest any sports games because I loathe them, but Madden 2003 is good if you like football. It would be easier to know what types of games you're looking for and what your interests are....not to mention your basic skill level/ ability to pick up on the controls of things like games. Some people ( my wife ) are better left to games that don't require direct input to, let's say, kill something ( like Diablo 2 ) and others are better/more suited to play games like Battlefield 1942 ( first person perspective direct action type of game...you run, and you aim, and you shoot the guy/tank/plane/ship ).
