Does it matter on your ide cables where you place the drives with master and slave settings? I know it used to be an issue but what is best, if anything...

M/B---Master----Slave

or

M/B---Slave---Master

Also, does it matter if you have a DVD Burner and a CD Writer on the same cable?? I have both and 2 x H/ds.

and no, it doesn;'t matter if you have a dvdrw and a cdrw on the same IDE... I've done that.
